We successfully concluded the special lecture titled “The Monastic Architecture of Nālandā Mahāvihāra: A Vision for the Future” delivered by Professor Anand Singh of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, India.
This session, organized under the patronage of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies at the Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies, offered a profound understanding of the rich heritage and architectural significance of ancient Buddhist monastic institutions.
The event, held at the invitation of Senior Professor Wasantha Priyadarshana, was presided over by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Venerable Dampe Vijitharathana Thero, and was attended by Emeritus Professor Asanga Tilakaratne, Professor Prashantha Mandawala, Senior Lecturer Rathnasiri Rathnayake, as well as other faculty members and students.
