A programme titled “Bethi Gee Saraniya” was held on the 3rd of June 2023 on account of the poson festival organized by Nagananda International Institute of Buddhist Studies with the fullest corporation and active participant of the academic staff, the undergraduates and non-academic staff. Firstly, “ pansil ” was administered and the traditional oil lamp was lit. Next, a dance called “Pooja” was presented by the undergraduates. Also, a recital of diversional songs was presented by the undergraduates, academic staff and non-academic staff.
On this same day, “Kadala dansal” was held in front of the university. This was held with the cooperation of the undergraduates and a great number of people participated in this event.
The programme came to a close followed by serving the participants with refreshments.
