A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University of Thailand and the Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies.
We are delighted to announce the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University of Thailand and Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies. The ceremony, which was held on the 23rd of August 2024 at the premises of NIIBS, marked an important milestone in fostering academic and research partnerships, facilitating knowledge exchange, and promoting Buddhist Studies globally. Representatives of both institutions, including esteemed members from NIIBS and MCU, were in attendance, making it a momentous occasion for Buddhist monks, nuns, and all those interested in Buddhist Studies.
The MOU signing ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished individuals, including the Dean, Vice-Dean, Secretary, and the Director of the BA English Program in Buddhist Studies from the Faculty of Buddhism at the Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University of Thailand, as well as Ven. Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero, Vice-Chancellor of NIIBS, Registrar of NIIBS and the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies of NIIBS. Their presence symbolized the mutual commitment and shared vision between our two esteemed institutions.
