A delegation from Indonesia, including the disciples of the Supreme Patriarch of the Theravāda Bhikkhu Order, Most Venerable Sri Pannavaro Mahāthera, visited Nāgānanda International Buddhist University on 28th February on an observation tour. During the visit, the delegation was also briefed on the academic programs conducted by the Faculty of Buddhist Studies at our institution.
Representing our university at this event were the Vice-Chancellor and Head of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thero, along with Lecturer Samantha Opanayake. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Thiwanka Fernando for coordinating this event.
