The Faculty of Buddhist Studies of the Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies, Manelwatta, Kelaniya, proudly organizes the annual “Muragala” special program, featuring a memorial event dedicated to Emeritus Professor Oliver Abeynayake, an exceptional scholar in the field of Pali and Buddhist Studies in Sri Lanka.
This program is held as an offering of gratitude and respect in memory of the late Professor Abeynayake, who passed away in 2022.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Ven. Prof. Induragare Dhammarathana Thera, and the session will be presided over by Ven. Dr. Bodagama Chandima Nayaka Thera, Vice Chancellor of the University.
