The 2nd International Conference on Psychology & Mental Health (ICPMH) organized by the Counselling Psychotherapy Unit of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies (FBS) was held successfully on 14.12.2025 in the Mezzanine floor of the NIIBS presided over by a large group of distinguished guests.
Best of Honour-Most Ven. Dr. Bodagma Chandima Thero, Vice-Chancellor of the NIIBS, Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thero, Conference advisor & Dean of the FBS, Prof. Wimal Hewamanage of the University of Colombo, who made the keynote address, The Conference Chair was Dr. Kalyani Ruwanpathirana, Head of the Counselling Psychotherapy Unit, Ven. P. Rathanasiri, lecturer of the FBS was the Conference secretary, and a host of other scholars, academia and lecturers representing various universities graced this occasion.
The Theme of our conference is psychological immunity for physical & mental well-being, Buddhist perspective and cross-disciplinary dialogues.
